Our Story
Kelly and Jenn are both mothers, and dog moms, who are North Carolina natives, major foodies, and music enthusiasts – especially 90’s and 2000’s rap – Ratchet Party Slaps anyone?
Kelly is a tenured non-profit professional, and multi-passionate creative. As a woman who has struggled with her body image for years, Kelly is a champion of body respect and embracing the skin you’re in.
Kelly’s creative interests and specialties are cooking, food photography, short-form video, hand lettering, logo design, branding, decorating, and watercolor art.
Kelly owns Kelly Cain Creative and The Raleigh Local.

Jenn is a tenured Human Resources professional, but has always been a creative at heart. After experiencing an unthinkable life threatening medical event in 2021, she left HR full time, and I set out on a course to pursue creative passions.
Jenn owns Jenn Kennedy, LLC (Emerald Pine Collective), and is a self-published children’s book author (times two – and one of which was self-illustrated!)
Jenn’s creative interests and specialties are florals, photography, watercolor art, writing, and cooking.
